Muscovites became the leaders in the number of awards in the championship DigitalSkills in Tatarstan

Moscow representatives took the first place in the unofficial team competition of the industry championship on WorldSkills standards in the field of information technology DigitalSkills in Tatarstan. This was reported on Sunday in the message of the Union of Young Professionals.

"A total of 61 medals were awarded at the closing ceremony at the Kazan Expo site. Most of the awards were taken home by Muscovites. The runners-up in the unofficial medal standings are Tatarstan, Tomsk and Kostroma regions," the Union said.

Moscow representatives won 34 medals: 20 gold ones, 8 silver ones, and 6 bronze medals, according to the DigitalSkills chart. The championship was held in the exhibition center in the Laishevsky region from December, 12 to December, 16.

In 2018, participants competed in 24 competences, 17 of which were presentational ones, the rest were included in the future professions block of FutureSkills. Employees of various enterprises, vocational college students and university students, as well as schoolchildren from about 30 regions of Russia and 14 other countries took part in the championship.

DigitalSkills is the second All-Russian WorldSkills Standards Championship in the line of industry competitions, which is attended by representatives of commercial and state corporations as contestants, experts and partners. For comparison, in 2017, the championship was attended by 120 participants from the Russian regions and abroad. The organizers of the championship are the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Union of Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)
