Muscovites triumphantly performed at the International Competition for Children's Engineering Teams

Moscow students triumphantly performed at the International Competition for Children's Engineering Teams, the final round of which was held from December 12, 2018 to December 14, 2018 in St. Petersburg.

The absolute winner in the nomination "Perestroika +" was the team of Moscow School №1517. In the nomination "Space Station", the winners were the students of School №1298 and the educational complex "South-West". The school team of the South-East named after Marshal V.I. Chuikov became the best in the nomination “Microbial Fuel Element”, and the teams of the Moscow State Educational Complex, Schools №1498, 354 and 2097 received a special prize from the youth jury, expensive software.

The international competition of children's engineering teams consisted of a distance qualification round and in-person final rounds. For the qualifying round, the teams had to complete the task within the framework of the chosen nomination and demonstrate the results in the video presentation format, as well as present the conclusion by the scientific and technical council or the review by a doctor of science or a PhD on the work done.

The final round was attended by 74 teams from seven countries: Russia, Spain, China, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Estonia. The delegation of Moscow was represented by 15 finalist teams, which included 66 students and 27 tutors. The competitions were held in eight nominations: “Space Station”, “Drawing Robot”, “Perestroika +”, “Labyrinth”, “Electronic Guide”, “Electric Power from Sound”, “Microbial Fuel Element” and “Drone Researcher”.
