Educational projects "Moscow e-school" and "Medical class in Moscow school" now feature in the top 100 of the major world projects following the results of the HundrED education summit in Helsinki. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced this on Sunday.
“The HundrED education summit was held in Helsinki the other day. Our Moscow Electronic School and Medical Class at Moscow School are on the list of one hundred major world projects,” he posted on Twitter. Congratulations to colleagues on the international recognition!”
The "Moscow e-school" project was launched in September 2016, at that moment there were six schools where children had tablets instead of textbooks and regular school markbooks were replaced with electronic ones. Each classroom was equipped with interactive panels and desks. By 2019, the sum of 16 billion rubles will have been invested in the project.
The project "Medical Class in Moscow School" unites joint effort of the teachers who have launched medical classes in Moscow schools, the resources of all network institutions of Moscow Department of Education, as well as the best specialists of the First Moscow State Medical University (I.M. Sechenov First MSMU) and Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU)
