Project Goals
- Improving the quality of training of future applicants of natural science and engineering specialties of Moscow universities
- Increasing motivation to study natural-mathematical and engineering disciplines
- Developing accessibility of higher level mathematical education as a base for the successful career of the Moscow school graduate in the megalopolis of the future
Project Content
Preparatory stage, Grade 6th:
Invitation work in mathematics (December of the 6th grade)
Club of interest (January - April of the 6th grade)
Club of interest (January - April of the 6th grade)
The main stage 7th – 9th grades:
Specialized curriculum in mathematics (algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics,
maths club)
Pre-profile studies in natural science and engineering areas
Career guidance activities on the basis of universities and enterprises of the city
Training manuals specially designed and placed in the Moscow Electronic School:
Providing in-depth study of mathematics in 7th – 9th grades, in accordance with the new Federal State Educational Standards.

Application from the principal
Project Resource Centers (provide methodological support to the schools
participating in the project, maintenance of clubs of interests, advanced skill
training):
Leading universities of the city (the ones that have already shown interest — Moscow State University (MSU), Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT), Higher School of Economics (HSE), Russian Technological University (MIREA), National University of Science and Technology (MISIS).
Schools that have measurable results in higher level maths education (already have
shown interest - 57, 2, “Intellectual”, 179, 1534, 1514, 444, 218, 1329 ...)
City operator - the Center for Teaching Excellence (carries out the development of teaching methodology materials, also, monitoring work, overall project coordination)

Ability to ensure the availability of quality mathematics education of higher level
In the future - a mathematical class in 7th – 9th grades in each school
Ability to create a base for high-quality specialized education in natural mathematical and engineering fields
