The use of modern technologies in the education system has to remain completely under the person's control, the head of the Moscow Department of Education Isaak Kalina states.
He said about it in the live broadcast of Mosobr TV channel in the TV program "The questions which are important for everyone".
Isaak Kalina sees one of the main school objectives in communication between the pupil and the teacher, in establishing contact between them. He considers that the technology has to remain a person's servant.
"And it should not be vice versa at all. For this purpose we also need to master all modern technologies – to remain their owner", the head of the Department said, warning teachers against an excessive passion for devices and gadgets the use of which will nullify communication between the pupil and the teacher.
The Moscow Electronic School project that provides a balanced use of modern technologies in the educational process is actively developing in the capital now.
